Fight To The Finish ! ! !

The Chase has reached "Crunch Time", accourding to Tim Tuttle at SI.com. With TWO races left before the NASCAR Champ is crowned, the leader, by 17 points over Matt Kenseth, is Jimmie Johnson. God help us all if Johnson were to become the 2006 Champion, if you've read my blog for any length of time, you know I don't want that to happen. Then Tim says, trailing a little further back are Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (at 78 points) and Denny Hamlin (at 80 points). With Kevin "Happy" Harvick rounding out the top five drivers. These are the top five horses, turning the corner heading for the home stretch in the Kentucky Derby, a couple of lingths apart, for the two race stretch run.

Who will take command? Who will face the challenge head on? Who will stumble and fall? Or, will this be five-wide to the wire? This is the most exciting Chase yet, the Nextel Cup Champion decided in a photo finish ! ! !

Gordon- Vandebosch Nuptials ? ? ?

While I'm on the subject of "The Golden Boys", NASCAR star (???) Jeff Gordon married Belgian model Ingrid Vandebosch on Tuesday in Mexico. Inquiring minds are wondering why they couldn't have held out another TWO WEEKS, to the end of the 2006 Season. Hmmmm??? I guess it's really none of my business, but still, those inquiring minds do want to know !!!
